As an important part of our fiduciary duty to our clients,TEG advocates for policies that we believe are in our customers’ long-term best interests. We provide policy analysis for clients:

  • Reviews FERC/ISO proceedings on transmission and wholesale sales of electricity
  • Monitor and analyze FERC/ISO proceedings for transmission rate implications for the competitive transmission process
  • Reviews the siting application for electric transmission projects and generation projects
  •  Evaluate transmission project costs, estimate annual transmission review requirements, and sensitivities
  • Reviews and monitor mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions by electric companies
Power Market Analysis
  • We provide expert guidance for entry, expansion (e.g., mergers and acquisitions), diversification and/ or exiting a market
  • We investigate market activity including business cycle, ISO/RTO’s supply/demand outlooks, capacity markets, renewable acquisitions, electricity forecasts, mid-and long-term prices, policies and rules, and competitive positions of firms to determine potential issues and their implications for clients.
